Job Title: Security Specialist
Location: Holloman AFB
Overview: The Rockhill Group, Inc. seeks a proficient Security Specialist to coordinate and implement security operations at Holloman AFB. This role requires a detail-oriented professional to manage a broad range of security tasks in collaboration with designated government representatives and subject matter experts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily security operations encompassing Special Security Representative (SSR) and Information System Security Officer (ISSO) roles at the Holloman FTU.
• Deliver comprehensive security guidance across multiple disciplines including Operational Security (OPSEC), Communications Security (COMSEC), Information Systems Security (INFOSEC), and Physical/Facility Security.
• Provide specialized security support to the secure facilities (Bldg. 319 & future Bldg. 205) at Holloman FTU.
• Manage access control for secure facilities and develop all necessary authorization documentation.
• Implement and monitor security controls, audit user activities, maintain security documentation, and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Collaborate with system administrators on patching, system hardening, and ensuring overall system compliance.
• Stay updated on relevant technologies and maintain an inventory of hardware and software for information systems.
• Conduct security audits and take corrective actions to resolve identified issues.
• Assist in security authorization processes and perform self-inspections and security coordination.
• Evaluate system modifications, technological advances, and their security implications; recommend improvements to address potential vulnerabilities.
• Provide ongoing protection and risk management for assigned facilities throughout their lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience in roles similar to SSR and ISSO.
• Expertise in managing comprehensive security protocols across OPSEC, COMSEC, INFOSEC, and physical security.
• Ability to develop, coordinate, and implement security documentation and controls.
• Knowledge in system security administration and compliance, including system hardening and auditing.
• Strong analytical skills to assess security postures and recommend improvements.
Security Clearance:
• Must hold or be able to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
