My client is a VC-backed startup revolutionizing a niche part of the DOD with their modern product suite. The company is in a high-growth phase and is in a very unique scenario where they are already profitable as a business. They are now looking to hire a Security Engineer who has strong DOD experience and knowledge of Authority to Operate (ATO). To be considered for this position, you must have a Top Secret clearance, and the following skills and background:
Top Secret clearance
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cloud security and Kubernetes.
Strong experience working within the DOD and knowledge of DOD security protocols
Knowledge of Authority to Operate (ATO)
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes security principles, tools, and best practices.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or other relevant certifications preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
CompTIA Security+ Certification
