Description

This position provides support to the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) Joint Operations Center (JOC) and Special Programs with professional services and operational readiness for the USCYBERCOM mission.

Requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate shall provide cyberspace education and training facilitation as follows:

  1. Contribute to the design and development of operational training instructions, materials, and products in support of the JOC including, Syllabus (Orders Coordination Training, Mission Assurance, Emergency Management, COOP), Instructional Performance Requirements Document (Design Requirements for Automated Training, Training Plans), and Lesson Strategy Report (Cyberspace Education and Training Materials Instructions/Plans).
  2. Assist in the development, preparation, coordination, and execution of all JOC training plans inclusive of assessments and reporting to include Syllabus (Orders Coordination Training, Mission Assurance, Emergency Management, COOP), Instructional Performance Requirements Document (Design Requirements for Automated Training, Training Plans) and, Lesson Strategy Report (Cyberspace Education and Training Materials Instructions/Plans).
  3. Assist in developing and revising JOC training evaluations to determine criteria, procedures/materials including, Syllabus (Orders Coordination Training, Mission Assurance, Emergency Management, COOP) Instructional Performance Requirements Document (Design Requirements for Automated Training, Training Plans), Lesson Strategy Report (Cyberspace Education and Training Materials Instructions/Plans).
  4. Assist with evaluating organizational priorities/needs in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure training meets objectives and joint standards.
  5. Coordinate with other CCMDs, departments, and agencies to develop Command emergency action training requirements and products.
  6. Identify, track, and resolve issues impacting training.
  7. Assist in identifying and tracking observations and lessons learned Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) from JOC training events for resolution.
  8. Monitor and review strategies, doctrine, policies, directives, and operational standards from applicable headquarters and stakeholders.
  9. Coordinate with team members in the application of analytical methodologies to assess Training Proficiency Assessment (TPA), MOE/MOP.
  10. Contribute to the design requirements for automated training to include, but not limited to hardware, software, simulations, course assessment, refreshment, and performance-based assessments and measurements, Syllabus (Orders Coordination Training, Mission Assurance, Emergency Management, COOP), Instructional Performance Requirements Document (Design Requirements for Automated Training, Training Plans) Lesson Strategy Report (Cyberspace Education and Training Materials Instructions/Plans).
  11. Provide in-person training through formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars. Contribute training input to monthly Readiness Report, Syllabus (Orders Coordination Training, Mission Assurance, Emergency Management, COOP), Instructional Performance Requirements Document (Design Requirements for Automated Training, Training Plans), Lesson Strategy Report (Cyberspace Education and Training Materials Instructions/Plans).
QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: TS/SCI/CI Poly

Education: Bachelor's Degree (Additional four (4) years of job-related military performing training experience may be substituted for education requirement). Training Development Certification.

Experience: No experience required.

  • Desired: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in providing classroom-based training including:
  • Developing and providing technical and end-user training on technical subject matter.
  • Evaluating training and assessing the effectiveness of training to ensure training meets objectives and standards.
  • Planning and scheduling training and exercise events and observation activities.
  • Preparing and coordinating training plans, schedules, and reports to meet mission needs.
  • Identifying, tracking, and resolving issues impacting training.
  • Leading the design and development of operational training instructions, materials, and products.
  • Conducting the research necessary to develop and revise training courses.
  • Preparing instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids) as well as student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms).
  • Training personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The team member is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.

The team members are required to type using a keyboard and mouse.

The team member is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.

The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
