Position Description

Vacancy #1:

Looking for a mid-career instrumentation engineer to support the GPS Team at the Atlantic Test Ranges. The GPS Team is responsible for providing real-time tracking and data recording of test and evaluation events using GPS-based tracking instrumentation.

The experienced mid-career instrumentation engineer performs instrumentation systems design, development, procurement, fabrication, installation, calibration and test operations of systems used to monitor and capture aircraft instrumentation data as well as provide expertise to junior instrumentation engineers and technicians. Embedded software experience is a plus.

Vacancy #2:

Looking for a mid-career computer scientist/software engineer to support Navy Training Ranges development efforts for GPS-based tracking instrumentation.

The experienced mid-career computer scientist will perform duties across the full spectrum of the software development life cycle including design, development, testing, and fielding. Experience in Red Hat Linux is preferred. Provides technical support to the Navy Training Ranges customers which use the products being developed.
