Job Title: Electrician Master

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electrician Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in planning layouts, installing, and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer's recommendations.
Responsibilities:
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment
Ensure installations minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and comply with specifications and local electrical codes
Prepare sketches or follow diagrams/blueprints for installations
Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit
Pull wiring through conduit with assistance from an electrician helper
Splice wires by stripping insulation, twisting/soldering wires, and applying tape or terminal caps per codes and standards
Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools
Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels
Fasten apparatus in place with screws or bolts using hand and power tools
Connect power cables and ground leads to equipment and other electrical utilization equipment
Test continuity of circuits using testing instruments to ensure compatibility and safety of components
Observe functioning of installed equipment/systems to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement
May repair faulty equipment or systems
Requirements:
High school diploma / GED equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience
Five (5) to eight (8) years related experience
Journeyman or Master license/certificate or equivalent
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
Excellent knowledge, skill level, and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions
