Senior Analytic Methodologist
Position Requirement:

• EXPERIENCE 5-6 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH PERFORMING THIS ROLE AT THE NATIONAL GEOSPATIAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY REQUIRED
Required Experience:
Successful candidates must have 5+ years of experience to accelerate the analytical adoption of analytic workflow modernization (AWM), mathematical and statistical modeling, structured analysis techniques, sound appropriate scientific methods, activity-based intelligence (ABI), structured observation management (SOM), and object-based production (OBP) within the analytical workforce. Qualified candidates will support advanced analytic modeling as well as modeling for the tipping and queuing collection of focus areas as well as help analysts develop strategies for data-centric research methods, and automate existing workflows through modeling and scripting.

Demonstrated work experience for a Federal Government Intelligence Agency is required in the following areas:
• Apply multidisciplinary mathematics and statistics models via programming languages to large datasets to extract patterns, relationships, and anticipatory behavioral likelihoods that may not be apparent using traditional single discipline means.
• Enable customer satisfaction and answer intelligence questions by using knowledge of advanced analytical methodologies and experience in implementing and executing methodologies.
• Provide support to exploitation, intelligence analysis, and product development to include statistical and trend analysis, data manipulation and format conversion, data collection / querying from various systems, data formatting for visualization and presentation, and database design and data entry form development.
• Interact with analysts, mission partners, and other contractors on analytical functionality and exploitation and related support tools.
• Support the assessment of new analytical tools and the necessary standards to facilitate compatibility and greater efficiencies across the tool sets utilized by ATS analysts.
• Work with minimum guidance and be fully capable of meeting most analytical methodology services without direction.
• Collaborate with government and contractor personnel in NGA and the IC in the performance of service. Such collaboration should provide accurate technical information that contributes to synergized analysis that is better than the sum of the individual parts.
• Regularly provide division and/or office level support.
• Apply mathematical techniques to solve complex problems and develop quantitative based assessments.
• Apply scientifically based approaches to help solve complex problems and issues to include statistical analysis, knowledge discovery, and mathematical modeling.
• Provide database consultation, graphical data visualizations, and recommendations for quantitative data selection and collection.
• Work rapidly in a high tempo, high stress environment that often requires multi-tasking.
Required Education and Skills:
• Master's or Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer science, or a similar field, with a good foundation in analytical methodologies.
• 5+ years of experience Analytic Workflow Modernization (AWM), mathematical and statistical modeling, structured analysis techniques, and Activity Based Intelligence (ABI), with a proven track record of implementing and executing advanced analytic methodologies.
• Proficiency regarding programming such as Python, R, Visual Basic, and experience in scripting for data manipulation and automation of workflows, showcasing the ability to leverage technology to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Experience in intelligence analysis, exploitation, and product development, including statistical and trend analysis, database design, data manipulation and data entry form development, with a focus on providing actionable intelligence to support decision-making.
• Experience in database guidance, graphical data visuals, and suggestions for the selection and gathering of quantitative data, demonstrating proficiency in managing and manipulating large datasets.
• Resilient problem-solving skills with capability to apply mathematical techniques and scientifically based approaches to solve complex problems and develop quantitative-based assessments.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance, taking initiative to drive analytical methodologies forward and provide division or office-level support as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, interacting with analysts, mission partners, and other contractors, fostering collaboration and teamwork in a dynamic work environment.
