Responsibilities:
- This is a senior level position requiring little supervision to develop top level and detailed engineering designs and develop optimized engineering solutions to complex problems
- Provide direct supervision to junior technical staff members
- All phases of complex integrated system development
- Direct, manage, and participate in developing system specifications, evaluating design/technology options, complete system development, equipment testing, system architectures, and engineering documentation
- Prepare complex reports, briefings, and presentations
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline with ten (10) years related professional experience, to include five (5) years as project technical lead. A Master's degree may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree in a project related discipline with a total of fifteen (15) years of directly related professional experience
- A minimum of ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in the listed functional responsibilities
- Specialized and experienced in one of the following engineering specialties: Electrical, Software, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, as required by each project
