Required Experience:
-5+ years’ professional experience designing and building software applications.
-Security+ certification (include certification with submission)
Required Technical Skills:
-Proficiency in Java programming
-Hands-on experience with RESTful API and Webservices development
-Oracle Database management
Security Clearance Level: Active Secret Clearance (Can hold up to a TS/SCI)
Location: 100% Remote - Must be on EST
Required Skills and Abilities:
-Ability to troubleshoot issues, think critically, and come up with effective solutions to technical interface design problems.
-Clear communication of technical concepts to our stakeholders and effective collaboration with team members.
-Ability to produce comprehensive and clear API Specification documentation (Swagger and OpenAPI)
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
-Familiarity with WSO2 APIM for designing, deploying, and managing APIs.
-Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
-Proficiency in Agile development practices, with experience participating in Scrum meetings, sprints.
Responsibilities:
-Collaborate closely with the team to understand and align with the mission, ensuring all API development efforts contribute effectively towards achieving collective goals.
-Contribute to a dynamic team environment where open communication, mutual support, and shared success are valued, enhancing team dynamics.
-Work with the team to identify and resolve technical challenges through innovative problem-solving and leveraging collective expertise.
-Key responsibilities include designing and developing REST APIs and other software components that are the core foundational blocks for integration with ADE partner systems.
-Contribute to best practice, develop solution leveraging best in class technologies, including, but not limited to COTS products.
-Utilize relevant technologies (such as RESTful services, JSON, and OAuth) to develop and optimize APIs, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and efficient with WSO2 API manager
Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another related field
