Valiant Integrated Services is actively seeking Pashto/Dari linguists to assist with the Department of State's Afghan Relocation Effort Program (CARE) Camp As Sayliyah (CAS) Translator/Linguist Program (CAST/L).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• As a linguist, you will be providing translation and interpretation services for Afghan refugees, as well as for the US Department of State and military officials.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• US Citizen
• Fluent in Pashto/Dari
• Score at least a 3/3/3/3 speaking, listening, reading, and writing (SLRW)
• 3 years of experience in translation, and/or interpretation
• Willing and able to deploy to Qatar
• Ability to function as a professional team member, making informed, accurate, and timely decisions as needed
• Possess basic computer and typing skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Secret or higher security clearance
• Prior experience working with refugees
• Experience in the medical field; strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Prior experience working for the Department of State
