Position Description
32. DUTIES NARRATIVE
In coordination with senior or Lead ISSO(s), will be required to perform cyber security risk assessments, physical security assessments, user awareness training, and develop accreditation documentation.
Perform responsibilities related to cybersecurity compliance, technical support and customer service. Perform IT review of new equipment prior to procurement.
Coordinate with users to clarify requirements, obtain missing data, explain processing delays, discuss priority adjustment options, discuss alternative process methods and anticipated time of process completion.
Provide user education and training in an individual or group setting.
Engage in NAWCWD continuous monitoring activities and report status to the 4.7 Department Information System Security Manager (DISSM).
Participate in planned and unscheduled security inspections to include cybersecurity validations and command physical security inspections. Ensure cybersecurity incidents are reported and actions are taken in accordance with NAWCWD Incident Response Plan procedures.
Promote cybersecurity awareness with lab management and users and provide annual training on topics such as data transfer procedures, incident response procedures, and command cybersecurity policies.
