Software Engineer / Developer

Northstrat is seeking software developers to perform design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance at all experience levels. Positions vary, but include front-end, back-end, and full stack software engineering opportunities.
On Northstrat projects, you will work with amazing teams of talented software engineers to provide strategic Information Technology solutions to meaningful problems across the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. You will solve unique and complex problems, using the latest technologies to create innovative solutions that are highly scalable and secure, utilizing DevSecOps and Agile development practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement software enhancements to mission systems in Federal Government agencies
* Integrate multiple applications and systems to streamline process workflows
* Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to
mission problems
* Use diagrams to document software functionality
* Build scalable and secure solutions to mission problems
* Communicate effectively when writing and/or contributing to end user instructions or manuals
* Perform code reviews and provide feedback to your peers
* Apply research and development techniques to progress product from an idea into production
