The Lead Tactical Medical Instructor is responsible for ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and quality of delivered tactical medical training instruction and provide direct instruction as needed for the Overseas Protective Operations Training Program in Amman, Jordan.

$68.24 - 70.68 per hour

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
• Provide direct instruction as required under tactical medicine, protective operations, guard force, tactical skills, firearms and driving training deliveries.
• Plan and conduct lecture, range, and practical exercise events. • Ensure all training events are conducted in a safe and compliant manner. • Monitor student performance and provide one-on-one remedial training as required.
• Ensure that all equipment, weapons, ammunition, and materials are on-hand for training
• Provide Tactical Medical leadership oversight and involvement • Act as an empowered medical risk advisor and liaison
• Plan, advise and perform mass casualty assessment and planning
• Plan, advise and perform medical QA/QC • Perform medical escort and liaison duties with local health care facilities
• Act as medical equipment consultant and custodian
• Provide continual staff development for emergency medical response
• Oversee medical curriculum development Required Qualifications and Experience: This position requires prior government approval to work on the contract. Biographical Requirements and additional qualifications are as follows:
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must demonstrate Level 3 English language proficiency
• Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience in tactical medicine and/or medical first response. This experience may be gained from related areas to include TCCC instructor, former WPS Paramedic or WPS AEMT labor positions, pre-hospital care, Special Forces Medic (MOS 18D) or Navy Independent Duty Corpsman (IDC), or as an Advanced Tactical Paramedic with the Department of Defense.
• Must have attended and successfully completed a minimum of eighty (80) hours of training in adult learning and/or instructional techniques (i.e. certifications from train-the-trainer courses).
• Must possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable TO.
• Must be able to attend and successfully complete required instructor training. • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Personnel Security Clearance as required • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid US Passport
