Job Summary:
We are on the lookout for a dedicated Senior Systems Engineer to drive the service management processes at DISA through strategic automation. This pivotal role includes maintaining their Automation Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), steering the Agency's Automation Center of Excellence (ACE), and integrating advancements within their Enterprise Architecture.
Location:
- Fort Meade, MD
- Will need to be located within: Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia
- Hybrid - 3 Days On-Site Per Two-Week Pay Period
Requirements:
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
- Experience in IT service management with an emphasis on process automation.
- Skilled in the documentation of meetings, action items, and technical strategy development.
- Proficient in the creation and management of project schedules (IMS) and implementation plans.
- Expertise in centralizing automation efforts and managing inventories within the ACE.
- Competency in updating and guiding strategic automation initiatives.
Skills:
- Proficiency in SharePoint, MS Project, and Excel.
- Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards; ITIL certification is advantageous.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., UiPath), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Visual Basic (VB) Macros.
- Ability to analyze processes, identify automation opportunities, and evaluate return on investment (ROI).
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills to deliver products that meet end-user needs effectively.
