• Experience with Application Software applications.
• Ops manager ensures the multiple software applications run smoothly, trouble shoot as required etc.
• Provide technology recommendations to facilitate the ability to achieve business objectives. Identify and develop business processes and performance measures to successfully integrate systems development, implementation, and sustainment.
• Identify, review, and assess the impact of emerging DoD/Federal/Commercial policies, directives, guidelines, DoD initiatives, governance processes, and technologies of each system.
• Establish a governance process to develop and adjudicate the standards, policies, and processes needed to effectively and efficiently manage device configuration polices and applications.
• Support activities of the PMOs to include meeting preparation and facilitation, preparing and conducting briefings, and developing options/white papers describing potential technical design and deployment alternatives.
• Provide project updates to Government counterparts via weekly status reports.
• Answering questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status, and downtime procedures.
• Collaborating with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development to restore service and/or identify problems.
• Using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
• May have supervisory responsibilities.
• Special non-commercial systems administrator experience (access management/file transfer) may be required.
• Work IT requests/projects from beginning to end with the support of a project manager, ensuring the requirements are accurate and scope is documented; projects may vary in complexity from simple procurements to equipment relocation.
• Track delivery & issue resolution.
• Provide written and oral updates on all statuses.
