Software Developer(TS/SCI)-Chantilly, VA

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM-based equivalent .

Required Experience: 4 years experience in software development

Required Clearance: Active TS/SCI
Work Location: Chantilly, VA area

Responsibilities:

Develops, plans, and analyzes, designs products, and programs computer software that requires extensive research. Utilizes advanced knowledge in the field of computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies. Develops and oversees web-based application design and creation. Plans, designs, evaluates, develops, tests, edits, maintains, and documents the look and flow of user-facing software/applications. Interview clients to help them clarify their goals for establishing an application/website. Designs or supervises the design of digitized images, banners, bullets, charts, image maps, and other graphics to enhance the appearance of the application/website.

Applies knowledge of programming techniques and computer internet systems. Performs release testing for assigned projects and resolves problems found in the software.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM-based equivalent
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• 4 years of development experience in multiple programming languages, environments, and systems
• 1+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience
• Experience with additional programming/scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, C/C++, etc
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles
• Strong communication skills - written, oral, and presentation
• Must meet DoDI 8570.01 certification requirements IAT Lvl II within 90 days of hire
