EHS Technologies Technical Writer
POSITION: Technical Writer
LOCATION: Philadelphia Navy Yard- Remote Work Potential
GENERAL SUMMARY: The Technical Writer position provides support for NSWCPD Code 316 the development, writing and editing of materials for manuals, briefs, proposals, instructions books, catalogs, or related technical and administrative publications.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES TECHNICAL WRITER:
Providing expert technical support with authoring and publishing Navy Technical Manuals, Planned Maintenance Systems, and other Navy documentations as required.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TECHNICAL WRITER ROLE:
High School Diploma or higher.
One (1) or more years’ experience in technical writing for the U.S. Navy.
Experience with Ship Change Documents (SCD)
Experience with CMMI preferred
Successful applicants must either have an active government security clearance or the ability to receive approval upon position acceptance.
