Description:

Seeking a Cyber Watch Officer to support our government customer in Reston, VA -OR- Colorado Springs, CO that will be responsible for providing multi-agency 24x7x365 cybersecurity event monitoring and intermediate cyber threat analysis management. Provide security monitoring, coordinate across multiple agency-specific Watch Officers, lead coordinated response process, report information to leadership to make risk-based recommendations. Performs a variety of Information Assurance (IA) and Computer Network Defense (CND) functions which are broad in nature and support multi-tier IA and CND functions to include, but not limited to, systems engineer, audit/inspection, infrastructure support, certification and accreditation, vulnerability management, detection and response support services. This position has multiple work shifts to support 24/7/365 operations. The ideal candidate will have Watch experience supporting a Federal Cyber Center (FCC) such as Joint Forces Head Quarters (JFHQ) Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), or Intelligence Community Security Coordination Center (IC SCC).

Required Skills:

Current (or in process of attaining) an IAT Level II Certification (Security+CE, or equivalent) Bachelor’s Degree (or additional 4+ years of professional experience) Minimum of 4 years of related cybersecurity, watch officer, or incident response experience Experience in cyber watch across both classified and unclassified networks Experience supporting cybersecurity oversight, collection, and analysis of threat intelligence, event analysis, and incident response Experience supporting 24x7x365 operations in a cybersecurity, IT or related watch environment. Experience supporting reporting on daily performance and health metrics to provide ongoing situational awareness to Government leadership Experience using incident case management systems to document and report on incidents. Experience following and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Experience supporting vulnerability management, cyber threat intelligence, and fusion. Understanding of classified Government networks, technology stacks, and cybersecurity operations Experience working individually as well as actively participating on integrated teams.

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with cyber security of Intelligence Community networks and operations. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
