Position Description
"· Knowledge of a wide range of advanced security related concepts, principles, criteria, requirements, technology, and practices.
· Knowledge of security program interrelationships to coordinate the objectives and plans of two or more specialized programs to support and promote information sharing and strategies.
· Skill to interpret a variety of security program laws, directives, regulations, and guidance to assist subordinate organizations in establishing and operating internal security programs.
· Skill in the use of analytical principles, practices, and techniques to review, evaluate, and apply several alternatives according to the security requirements for highly specific situations, availability of materials, relationships with other protective programs, and cost/benefit considerations.
· Must be familiar with PHYSEC as it relates to both the command security program protecting classified information and force protection/mission assurance applications.
· Must understand and be able to address mission requirements with integrated and effective facility solutions, electronic security system (ESS) (e.g., IDS, AECS) solutions, and other asset protection techniques and resources.
· Skilled in analyzing data related to facility planning and assessments, makes sound recommendations to management, and coordinates internally and externally for implementation of management direction.
· Able to read and understand documentation related to facility planning, contracts, and requirements.
Experience working with Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access Database programs), and Adobe Acrobat.
