Job Description:
- Developing system and subsystem requirements from user mission needs, and tracking requirements throughout the development process
- Understanding and utilizing detailed models and simulations of systems for design verification or to enable hardware and software development
- Working closely with developers to create operational modes which satisfy requirements and maximize system performance
- Analyzing data from laboratory as it applies to and influences design solutions
- Formally verifying that solutions meet requirements
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) in Physics, Mathematics, Computer, or Electrical Engineering or a similar technical discipline with 9 years of related experience, or 7 years with a Master's Degree, or 4 years with a PhD.
- Professional hands on experience in systems engineering tools including requirements management tools such as Jama
- System requirements development
- Understanding detailed models and simulations of electronic circuits or systems for design verification
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's Degree Systems Engineering
- Software or Hardware design experience
- Experience with analysis, design, fabrication, or test of superconducting electronics
