i3 has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer in Washington, D.C. to support the Naval Research Laboratory, Tactical Electronic Warfare Division. The TEWD's mission is to protect the warfighter from emerging threats by advancing electronic warfare (EW) through RDT&E of current and future technologies.
Responsibilities:
Contributing team member solving highly technical problems in the area of EW technologies.
Design and develop hardware, software, and firmware in EW applications.
Develop and implement algorithms for use in radar applications.
Support integration and verification testing in laboratory and field environments.
Generate technical reports documenting design and analysis.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
Minimum two (2) years of related experience.
Experience with C/C++.
Experience with Java, Python, or C#.
Experience operating electronic test equipment.
Desired:
Master’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
Five (5) years of experience.
Experience with digital signal processing.
Experience designing, developing, and testing electronic and digital circuits.
Experience debugging embedded software or firmware.
Experience with radar systems.
MATLAB application in simulation and data analysis.
Security Clearance:
Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
