Position Overview:
Assist with the development, maintenance, and refinement of new or existing applications and leverage existing available software/hardware to enhance the visualization and flow of information into and out of the J2 organization to aid in the sharing of information and knowledge with the Command, JFCCs, Agencies, and the IC.
Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
• Assist with the development, maintenance, and refinement of new or existing applications and leverage existing available software/hardware to enhance the visualization and flow of information into and out of the J2.
• Create assist and advise on the synthesis and synchronization of J2 products so the websites are utilized as a major source for information sharing, dissemination, collaboration, and decision making during periodic reviews of the organizations’ website structure on multiple domains.
• Use analytics and other available methods to dynamically generate metrics on data, web pages, and products to easily visualize and show relationships between the vast amounts of information.
• Provide support in the pursuit of content by surveying internal customers to gather feedback and requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Security Clearance Required: Top Secret SCI
• A minimum 3 years’ experience using JavaScript, Python, JSON/JSONP, REST calls, and SQL for the modification and manipulation of new or existing APIs.
• The ability to expertly use web design and development tools such as Notepad++ and SharePoint Designer (of which at least 2 years’ experience needs to be with SharePoint Designer 2013) with working knowledge of Visual Studio a plus.
• A minimum 3 years’ experience creating customized workflows and web based forms to include experience improving business processes and automating the collection, organization, dissemination and archival of intelligence products using XSLT, XSL-FO, XQuery, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, shell scripting, and node.js.
• Demonstrated experience with data security management on DoD classified networks with both client-side and server side applications.
• The successful use of authentication security features when creating or modifying new and existing projects.
• The successful creation, maintenance, updating and trouble-shooting of applications in a cloud-based environment similar to Amazon Web Services in addition to Security+ certification a plus.
• A general understanding of CCMD level mission sets, OPLANS; intelligence analysis is a plus.
