We are currently seeking an Cyber Security Engineer to support our Federal client in Fort Belvoir, VA.
Job Location: Fort Belvoir, VA
Cyberdata Technologies desires a Cybersecurity Engineer experienced in Information Assurance, systems engineering, architecture, and cloud computing with excellent customer service skills to support the US Army Data Center Consolidation Plan (ADCCP). The Cybersecurity Engineer will develop processes, templates, and procedures to assist the Army in streamlining the RMF, expediting the application and data migration process to DoD Authorized Enterprise (Cloud) Environments.
The Cybersecurity engineer must be able to convey technical and operational considerations orally and in written formats and graphically to Army/DoD senior leadership. The candidate is expected to be familiar with the characteristics of a variety of DOD, Army, security requirements as they relate to Cloud. The candidate is also expected to provide assistance and IA guidance to application owners and stakeholders as they navigate the Army’s Cloud migration process.
In support of the ADCCP mission, occasional travel may be required to conduct on-site application and data center discovery at various US Army installations (CONUS and OCONUS), as required.
Job Details:
• 3-5 years professional experience desired in the following skills:
o Intrusion, detection, and management of security systems
o NIST 800.53A, FISMA, and RMF government regulations
o Security architecture auditing and assessment
• Experience with Vulnerability Management
• Experience with Windows-based systems architecture
• Experience with current DoD and Federal cloud computing assessment models, Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation process and procedures as well as the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), NIST, DoD Provisional Authorization, and assessment and authorization process (A&A)
• Experience with eMASS, developing overlays
• Experience with creating a System Security Plan (SSP)
• Experience with DISA STIGs
• Experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A)
• Understanding technical procedures to migrate from legacy environments to modern hosting facilities like milCloud, Amazon GovCloud and Azure Government.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Experience in mission assurance and cyber threat analysis
• Familiarity with Department of the Army Guidelines and Regulations
• Familiarity with DoD terminology and Army organizational structure- 5+ years professional experience desired
• Experience providing IA and System Security expertise
• Experience providing comprehensive vulnerability and threat analysis
• Experience providing guidance on IA security solutions
• Experience supporting a Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) process
• Experience supporting Penetration Testing
• Experience performing network Evaluations and Audits
• Experience conducting Contingency Plan Evaluations and updates
• Experience providing support for the implementation of IA policies in accordance with Federal and DoD AIS security regulations, as well as creating policies based on the effectiveness of existing IA best practices and policies
• Ability to interact with internal and external customers
• Experience in infrastructure and cloud engineering and operations; Providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing solutions and initiatives to support Cloud architecture.
• Experience with the Army Big Data Platform; knowledge of security requirements and architecture considerations for a SIPR and/or JWICS cloud environment.
Desired Certifications:
• CISSP, MCSE, MCP, MCP +I, Security+ (or IAT level II and above) certification
• ISSAP, ISSEP or CCSP, Linux+, Network+, A+, CCNA or equivalent
• ITIL Foundations, CISA or equivalent
