Job Title: Counterintelligence Specialist
Reports To: Program Manager and Customer
Work Location: Ft. Belvoir
Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI eligibility
Advantage SCI, LLC has immediate full-time opening for a Counterintelligence Specialist to support a government agency in the National Capital Region (NCR) providing scheduled and unscheduled counterintelligence and Due Diligence reviews of various operational functions; conducting coordination with various governmental agencies to facilitate mission preparation; providing security support for a wide variety of operational and administrative tasks; and applying CI and Security standards and procedures for successful execution of the organization’s mission.
Summary of Duties includes, but are not limited to:
• Provide Counterintelligence (CI) support to a DOD Special Compartmented Information (SCI)/ Special Access Program (SAP)
• Must possess experience performing liaison duties between government agencies and Cl analysis of programs and operations
• Must possess excellent written and oral communications skills; will be required to research build, staff, and present information and decision briefs
• May be required to develop and perform intelligence and threat analysis
• Shall demonstrate current experience and knowledge with the use of IC analyst tools and applications.
• Provide scheduled and unscheduled counterintelligence and Due Diligence reviews of various operational functions and conduct coordination with various governmental IC agencies to facilitate mission preparation
• Must be able to learn and become intimately familiar with the organization and able to explain in detail relevant factors regarding unit mission, activities, and capabilities
• Assist in the analysis, coordination, and integration of intelligence information to assess developments, trends, and threat implications within critical geographical functional areas
• Present a full range of CI briefings and reports
• Prepare, formulate, coordinate, and staff a wide variety of operational and administrative correspondence
• Interface with the Intelligence Community as requested
• Update the Government's databases, intelligence files, and other required documents to successfully complete the mission
• Must stay abreast of military, political- military, technical, and other developments to conduct valid threat assessments
• Maintain office files, prepare administrative reports, and follow established policies and procedures
• Additionally, may support customer’s OPSEC/Signature Reduction (SIGREDUX) efforts as needed to protect Critical Information as defined in unit Cl, Intelligence Oversight, OPSEC guidance, and security classification guides to include prepare, formulate, coordinate, and staff a wide variety of correspondence supporting SIGREDUX
• Provide advice and assistance to develop SIGREDUX and identity management concepts and procedures
• Perform other CI functions as designated
Minimum Requirements:
• Shall possess and maintain a current Top Secret/SCI clearance. No exceptions!
• Must have at least five (5) years of experience working for or with national-level intelligence agencies, such as NSA, CIA, and DIA
• Must have Knowledge of and familiarization with the following tools: Analyst Notebook, Proton, classified message databases, Google Earth, DataXplorer (IC Reach), and Voltron
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
Working Conditions:
•Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
•Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis
•Able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
