The Systems Administrator will assist in the deployment, operation, and maintenance of various information technology systems as part of the IT team located at an established customer site in Chantilly, VA. The candidate must be able to assist local and remote users with their IT-related issues as well as support daily IT operations and maintenance. The successful candidate must possess solid interpersonal skills in addition to the technical aptitude expected from an IT professional. This is part of a small team and provides an opportunity to develop greater expertise and scope of responsibility.

Active TS/SCI (will require a CI Poly after entering into the position)
Security+ certifications or equivalent for DoD 8570 compliance
2+ years experience in Windows System Administration to include Windows Active Directory, Windows Server 2008/R2/2012, Windows 7+, Microsoft Office suite
Receive, evaluate and prioritize incoming user requests and trouble tickets for assistance with hardware, software and websites.
Work as part of a team to identify, diagnose, and resolve problems with computer hardware and peripherals including workstations, printers and local area networking
Update anti virus definitions, execute virus scans of incoming and outgoing media, perform data transfers and complete related documentation
Provision and maintain Microsoft Windows workstations and laptops according to existing standards, including creation and distribution of system images
Perform user account creation and activation, password resets, privilege assignment, group membership management, directory access control
Excellent customer service skills to include positive attitude, strong communication and organizational skills
Desired Skills:

Understanding of Microsoft Windows Group Policy, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
Experience with backup solutions such as NetBackup, BackupExec or Arcserve
Familiarity with application, desktop and/or server virtualization
Knowledge of VBScript, Jscript, PerlScript or Powershell
Set up and operate audio and video equipment including microphones, sound speakers, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, sound boards, and related electronic equipment for conferences and classes
A+, Network+ certifications
Bachelor's Degree
